Description

As mentioned by user ogiod on discourse here we still lack some statistical functions.

We still need to implement

  • cor
  • cov
  • median : Scalar operation when dims is mentioned
  • middle : Implement extrema function
  • quantile : Probably need sort for this

Contributor guide

Look at existing CUDA.jl statistics implementations and base Julia Statistics module to implement median, middle, and quantile for GPU arrays. Consider GPU optimized sorting for quantile.
