We've recently added issue templates and pull request templates which I think are handy.

Putting that out into the aether as a new plugin idea.

Research direction
Add .github/ISSUE TEMPLATE and .github/PULL REQUEST TEMPLATE directories with markdown files for common issue types (e.g., bug, feature) and a PR template. Follow GitHub's documentation on template configuration. No changes to Julia code are needed.
