Description

Background

Currently, we show what channels a logged in user follows in the left side-menu, seemingly in alfabetical order

The effect is that we always see the same channels.

Proposal

Show channels in a random order in each session, so that a random subset is visible each time, reminding the user of channels they may have forgotten.

Not an urent issue.

Research direction
Implement a random sort of the followed channels list on each session load. The sorting should be applied in the component that renders the sidebar, using a random seed that persists for the session (e.g., using useState or a session variable).
