Research direction

Start by examining how JSONAPI::Resources currently derives the JSON:API type attribute and compare that behavior with the configurable type formatting described for AMS. Define the supported customization and its expected output before identifying the relevant serializer or resource entry point and tests.

Written by the indexing model from the issue text.

Description

In AMS we can choose which type format to use in json:api document, and it looks like JSONAPI::Resources doesn't have this option now. It would be very helpful if we can custom the type attribute.
