It's no doubt my own incompetence at fault, but I'm unclear on how to implement the server-side part of Slingshot.

I wonder if there's an sample Meteor project anywhere that would show how to get set up (in the context of an entire project, as opposed to just the code samples in your README)?

Research direction
The issue asks for a complete example Meteor project demonstrating server side Slingshot setup. Currently only code snippets exist in the README. To address, one could create a minimal project with file upload form, server configuration for AWS S3, and upload handler. Refer to similar Meteor packages or the Slingshot documentation.
