Description

In the https://github.com/BlockchainCommons/Learning-Bitcoin-from-the-Command-Line/blob/master/03_2_Knowing_Your_Bitcoin_Setup.md#know-your-bitcoin-directory, the directory is said to be ~/.bitcoin.

However, this is not true on Macs. The default directories for different OSs should be noted.

https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Data_directory#Default_Location is a good page to use as a resource for the different locations on different OSs.
