Script does not work with full path files

Something like the following
./watch.sh ~/path/to/directory ~/path/to/directory/file

won't work, because in the script I check whether the second argument is exactly the file name. Which isn't true all the time, since I would usually give the full path of the file rather than just the name. The file name should be extracted and compared.
