Search could be done by :

  • Tempo
    • Precise or Range
  • Genre name
  • Subgenre name
  • Pattern
    • it could be a 1D pattern or a 2D pattern of steps
  • Midi instrument
    • "Give me all the beats with a kick a snare and a h-hat"

Contributor guide

Research direction
Implement search functionality across tempo, genre, subgenre, pattern, and MIDI instrument fields. The user should be able to query by exact tempo or range, by genre/subgenre names, by pattern types (1D/2D), and by MIDI instrument. This may require backend API endpoints and frontend search interface.
