Description
At the Pangeo Australia meeting in March 2022 we had a discussion about using Anaconda for commercial projects. It was suggested that we might want to make sure to only install packages from conda-forge (and not the default Anaconda-managed channel) so as to not violate the Anaconda Terms of Service for commercial use (e.g. miniforge can be used for this purpose). Looking more closely at the Terms of Service changes, I think in most cases we are not engaged in "heavy commercial usage" and thus using the Anaconda channel (and the Anaconda distribution itself) should be fine.
