Description

We currently use WiringPi to control our GPIO pins. The thing is WiringPi is designed and built as a shared library. Eventually, with our software on the prop control board, we can't have shared libraries so everything has to be statically linked. So WiringPi doesn't support this.

Technically, once we've moved over to the prop control board we won't be using WiringPi anyways. But I would like to get us started now if we can. We can link the C++ standard library statically on GCC, that's not an issue, so it's just the WiringPi library. Is there a replacement for this?
