Description

Summary

Pedometer. MAG already has a steps competition, now to weaponize it!

Technical Spec

  • Need to be able to put swadge into low power mode
  • Needs to still be able to access the accelerometer.
  • Needs some sort of sway counter to count steps

UI

Menu:

  • Reset steps
  • Trip 1
  • Trip 2
  • Turn off screen

How to Test

Put on swadge and walk around for a bit. Make sure it's roughly keeping up with steps.

Examine existing accelerometer driver and low power mode implementation. Research step counting algorithms like peak detection or threshold crossing. Trace how the current steps competition works to integrate the pedometer.
